Awards for the Best

The University of Montenegro wants to encourage students to achieve better success in their studies, develop interest in scientific research, artistic and professional work, and creative and critical thinking.

In order to achieve the above mentioned things, the University annually awards the following prizes:

- A prize for the completed studies with the best result;
- A prize for success achieved during studies;
- A prize for the best scientific research, artistic and professional work.

The prize for the completed studies with the best result is the Plaque of the University of Montenegro and a financial award. Two prizes are awarded to the best students in the field of social sciences, technical, natural-mathematical and medical sciences, and one prize to the best student in the field of arts. Prizes are awarded to students who completed Undergraduate studies in the previous academic year with an overall average grade of at least 9.50, provided that they have not repeated any study year.

 

The prize for success achieved during studies is a diploma and a financial award. The prize is awarded to final year students who have completed the previous study year in regular periods, and whose overall average grade is at least 9.00.

 

The prize for the best scientific research, artistic and professional work of students consists of a written recognition and a financial award. In order to encourage the scientific research, artistic and professional work of students, the University annually awards one work in the field of science and the arts, for material that was created in the preceding calendar year. A competition for the prize awarded for the best scientific research, artistic and professional paper is announced by the University, no later than 31st January of the current year.
