Free Entry to Boka Aquarium During the University of Montenegros Anniversary Week

The Institute of Marine Biology at the University of Montenegro, marking a significant anniversary, proudly announces the opening of Boka Aquarium, the only public aquarium in Montenegro. From April 24 to 29, 2024, the Aquarium will be open to visitors from 10 AM to 5 PM, offering an opportunity to freely explore the maritime wealth it holds.

Boka Aquarium represents a significant center for education and the promotion of conservation of the marine life of the Adriatic Sea. With 18 tanks divided into four exhibition sections - the World and Mediterranean Seas, the Adriatic Sea and Southern Adriatic, the Bay of Kotor, and tropical seas, the aquarium serves as a model in building public awareness and actions for the protection of species and habitats.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the history of the Aquarium, the fascinating facts of marine life displayed, organized exhibitions, and information about tickets.

The opening of Boka Aquarium is not just an occasion to celebrate the anniversary of the University of Montenegro but also a moment to highlight its continuous contribution to knowledge creation, the development of academic skills, and the promotion of expertise.
