Working visit of MSc Božena Miljić to Brussels

Senior researcher at the Institute of History MSc Božena Miljić, was in Brussels from April 8 to 11. There, in the organization of the COST action Women on the Move (CA19112), she attended the opening of the exhibition "Women on the Move - Exhibition of posters, letters, landmarks and timeline of womens migration" in the European Parliament. Miljić also participated in the round table on the topic "Reception centers, gender disaggregated data and deskilling of women migrants in EU countries" organized in the premises of the COST association. The participants of the round table also visited the European Commission and the office of Helene Dali, Commissioner for Equality. Miljić is a member of the Women on the Move action, co-leader of Working Group 1 and a member of the Steering Committee from Montenegro. The COST action Women on the Move investigates the flow of womens migration throughout history, as well as the position of migrant women in todays world.
