EASA Montenegro is a part of nonprofit international student platform European Architecture Students Assembly which was organized 35 years ago for architecture students to share their thoughts, ideas and methods. EASA Montenegro was established in 2013 while EASA was established in 1981 in Liverpool. Since then, every summer EASA gathers over 500 students of architecture from more than 40 countries and 200 different schools of architecture.  There are 35 workshops organized to discuss the theme set by the host country, but also to include different profiles of students. Therefore, there are constructive workshops, constructive-design workshops and symbiotic workshops. During these two weeks all these workshops are accompanied by lectures from locally and internationally acclaimed architects open for all contestants.

What makes EASA unique is EASA spirit-difficult to describe but easy to feel. That spirit motivates 500 people to create eternal friendshipS in two weeks. At the same time it enables us to know ourselves, challenging us to live in the unfamiliar environment with the people that we do not know and it changes our perspective on the world completely.

The Network moves to a new venue every year, providing fresh views and a chance to discover new history, culture, life styles and new people. There are national nights on which participants present their countries and there are trips organized to the nearest cities.

INCM

Intermediate National Contact Meeting decides about the new venue of the organization and about all other important questions. INCIM is held every autumn and all representatives of the countries involved in EASA are invited to participate.

SESAM

Small European Students of Architecture Meeting is one more event. The concept is the same but it is organized for less participants. Every country can organize SESAM unlimited times during one year. The fists SESAM was held in 1992 in Spain and every SESAM has  different theme.

EASA national teams:

Every year the country which organizes the event decides about the number of the participants. National Contacts are persons who promote EASA in their countries and they select participants. People who have participated once have possibility to apply again as helpers or guests. The helpers and quests are selected by the organization. Also, all people who have any ideas for workshops can apply as tutors. All deadlines are defined by the organizations.
