Message by Rector Vladimir Božović, PhD to Students-to-be

Dear students,

Welcome to the University of Montenegro, the oldest and most important higher education institution in the country.

Choosing a faculty is one of the most important and difficult decisions in life, so it is completely natural that before choosing what you want to study, you simultaneously feel joy, but also fear of something new and different. By choosing the University of Montenegro, you show from the beginning that you are committed to real knowledge, and not to some paper that bureaucratically confirms it. You are choosing a new value and you are ready to, in addition to the beauty that studying provides, also accept obligations it entails.

We, the teaching and non-teaching staff of the University of Montenegro, will, as before, be a reliable support for your aspirations, which are adorned with youthful freshness and intellect, freedom of spirit, thoughts, words and deeds. You will learn from the best, both from your successful colleagues and from exceptional lecturers and scientists of our University. Their careers and successes can serve as motivation for your endeavors. You will have the opportunity to use the experience of those who were once in your position, and today you can recognize them among those in the most important government, business, educational, and scientific positions in the country and abroad.

With dedicated work and effort, you will acquire key knowledge necessary for your future profession at the University.
