The Innovation fund of Montenegro announced five Public Calls for awarding grants for:
- verification of innovative concept,
- strategic partnership in implementing pre-acceleration program for start-ups,
- encouraging development of innovative culture,
- implementation of educational programs within the areas of smart specialization and
- protection and development of inventions.
Total value of the announced calls is 650.000 EUR.

The key objectives of these programs are strengthening the capacities and capabilities of the private sector for development of innovations, affirmation of innovative entrepreneurship and construction of a sustainable environment for realization of ideas into innovations and their commercialization on the market, as well as the promotion and popularization of innovations, smart specialization strategies and cooperation between scientific research institutions and the economy.
