Call for project proposals - “Support for Tolerance, Diversity, and Inclusion”
The US Embassy in Podgorica has launched a Call for project proposals with the aim to bolster civil society and advance tolerance, diversity, and inclusion within Montenegrin society.
Project proposals should contribute to one of the priority areas:
- Protection of human rights and promotion of tolerance, especially among youth
- Ethnic minority, LGBTQi, and gender equality
- Women’s empowerment in the political and economic sphere
- Bolstering civil society
Projects may include various elements, for example strategic policy actions, advocacy, communication campaigns targeting key audiences, capacity building trainings, workshops, hackathons, cultural programming, hands-on activities requiring follow-on actions from project participants, and community initiatives. Sustainable project are encouraged, which target underserved communities, especially in economically disadvantaged areas of the country that have struggled with out-migration in recent years.
Deadline for submission of proposals is 29/04/2024, until 17 o’clock.
Grant amount per project may range between 25.000 and 50.000 USD.
Total budget of the Call is 320.000 USD.
Project duration is up to 12 months.
One institution may submit only one proposal. In case that more proposals are submitted – all of them will be eliminated.
