Certificates Award to Participants of Training for Teaching in English

A ceremonial awarding of certificates to participants of two language and methodological training modules for teaching in English was held on June 23, 2022. Training for scientific and teaching staff at the University of Montenegro was conducted by US Government scholarship holder Hansley Cazeau, who, with the support of the American Embassy engaged at the University of Montenegro as part of the English Language Fellow program.

Successful completion of the Teach in English and Increase Involvement in the Classroom workshops was celebrated by awarding certificates to the participants at the Gostiona restaurant in Podgorica. In addition to certificates for successfully completed training, certificates for facilitation were also awarded to Tamara Backović, Ph.D., Milica Muhadinović, Ph.D., Jani Mišurović, M.Sc., and Irini Stamatović, M.Sc.

As part of the goals presented in the Internationalization Strategy at UMNE and general improvement of the quality of teaching in English, and within implementation of the Erasmus+ project Strengthening internationalization at universities in Montenegro through effective strategic planning - IESP two-module training was recognized as extremely important. In addition to the main i.e. of assumed goals, the training also served to achieve deeper cooperation among the scientific and teaching staff, which can be the basis for interdisciplinary.
