Visit to Primorska Technology Park and University of Nova Gorica

As part of the DigNest project, in the period from April 9 to 11, a visit to the Primorsko Technology Park and the University of Nova Gorica was organized.
The delegation of the University of Montenegro was led by the vice-rector for science and research, prof. Dr. Irena Orović.
During the visit, the work of the UCG Digital Innovation Office was presented and experiences were exchanged with Slovenian colleagues with the aim of further developing the Offices service portfolio, as well as the system for encouraging the development of innovation capacities through cooperation with the economy in general. This was also an opportunity for representatives of the University to learn about examples of best practice and successful companies that received appropriate support from the Primorsko Technology Park and the University of Nova Gorica in the start-up phase. The ten largest companies that grew out of the start-up phase now employ 228 people, which is one of the key indicators of the success of institutions that provide this type of support.
