Learning outcomes:

After successfully completing bachelor academic studies student will be able to: 1. Understand the main ideas of complex written or spoken text in Italian on both concrete and abstract topics. 2. Present basic knowledge of phonetics, orthography, lexicology, morphology and syntax of contemporary Italian language, fluently and spontaneously applied in written and oral communication in Italian. 3. Produce a text on different topics in Italian language. 4. Communicate both in oral and written form in another foreign language, beside in Italian. 5. Use basic knowledge of the translation process for translating certain types of texts. 6. Define and interpret concepts and content related to certain historical periods in the development of the Italian language, literature, civilization and culture, included in the curriculum. 7. Develop skills for identifying, analyzing and interpreting political, social, religious, intellectual and other topics in the field of language, literature, civilization and culture of Italy in the past and in the contemporary times. 8. Collect information from various sources in order to understand more profoundly the specific spheres of interest. 9. Present teamwork skills.
