Learning outcomes:

The learning outcomes of the Physiotherapy master's program are available to teachers, students and all other interested parties. They will be accessible, realistic and reflect advances in the field of physiotherapy. They are comparable to the Dublin descriptors. There is a possibility for their verification within the internal quality assurance system. After completing the study program, i.e. obtaining the Master Physiotherapy qualification, the achieved learning outcomes are general and specific:

  • Applies acquired knowledge and skills in the field of physiotherapy through analysis of professional problems in physiotherapy and synthesis of appropriate solutions at all levels of health care, within clinical physiotherapy and public health;
  • Conducts functional assessment procedures, applies physiotherapy treatments and evaluates the effect of treatment;
  • Applies all the principles of teamwork, based on the concept of unique and continuous evidence-based physiotherapy, in the preparation of training plans and programs, as well as in the areas of health promotion and improvement and disease prevention;
  • Assesses the needs for human resources in prevention and treatment in the health care system;
  • Critically assesses the professional areas of physiotherapy and, based on research, contributes to the improvement of professional practice;
  • Applies all acquired modern evidence-based physiotherapy knowledge, deepening independence in work and decision-making;
  • Understands the importance of the broader social environment in providing conditions for preserving and improving health, participates in the education of patients with disabilities and their family members;
  • Applies modern information and communication systems in physical therapy and rehabilitation;
  • Transfers theoretical knowledge and skills in the field of physiotherapy at different levels of professional education and in joint work with other experts in the health sector;
  • Plans and participates in the implementation of original research in the field of physiotherapy with all population groups of the healthy and sick population, in a team with doctors and other experts;
  • Develops additional professionalism, independence, ethics and responsibility in work;
  • Develops competence, communication skills and skills for working in an international environment, in public relations and in crisis situations caused by the epidemiological situation;
  • Organizes and coordinates the work of physiotherapy at all levels of health care;
  • Applies knowledge and skills in methodical and didactic work within the framework of formal and informal education of physiotherapists and the population.
