Study program

Level of studies: BACHELOR
Type of studies: Akademske
Financing: S
Learning outcomes:

Upon completion of three years basic academic studies, a student will be able to: - analyse and model mechatronics systems using systematic approach, understand the principles, modelling, interfacing and recording of the signals from the motion sensors, actuators and drive systems, integrate components into control of mechatronics system and to realize control mechanisms of the real-time and closed-loop mechatronics systems. - make selection and implement suitable types of actuators commonly used in the mechatronics systems, - understand physical principles and characteristics of sensors, have basic knowledge of signals recording, understand general principles of measurement systems, design measurements systems for simple measuring tests, - model various types of electrical, mechanical, fluid, thermal and mixed systems, - perform computer simulation and validation of a mechatronics system model, - have basic knowledge of control in real time and designing of embedded (integrated ) systems within their scope of application, without expert knowledge of designing methods on levels lower than the system level, - identify and quantify key requirements for given application, in terms of the required resources (memory, computer power, bus speed, input/output channels,...), - identify the most appropriate peripheral units suitable for given application and to program their work, - design event-driven projects and applications of microcontrollers in real time, coding, compiling, downloading, eliminating errors and controllers program running.
